The end of February marks something very special for everyone in North America because it also signals the end of winter. While the nights remain cold, they also consistently keep getting shorter and, night by night, warmer. Next thing you know, it’s mid-summer and we’re all worried about the looming nature of winter coming again. That time is a ways away, so here are two ways to enjoy the freshness of spring!
With the ground slowly defrosting, that really means it’s time to churn the soil and get ready to plant some new crop for the coming summer. The MonDak Ag Days & Trade Show celebrates that latest in technology and education for agriculture production. On Friday, March 7 and Saturday March 8 of 2019, head on over to the Richland County Fair Event Centre in Sidney, Montana and visit a few (or a lot of) booths to learn about the newest in agriculture This free trade show also concludes with a dinner social at 5:00 PM and live entertainment at 6:00. Note: the trade show is free, but the banquet runs at $45 a head.
Wildlife springs to into action in the coming spring months. The Pheasants Forever movement has a mission to maintain the conservation of pheasants and other wildlife. This goes from habitat improvements, to educational programs, and even to land management policies. If you are curious about their mission it may be a good idea check out what they do by heading over to the Pheasants Forever Banquet on Saturday, March 9.
