The Northern Plains Ethnic Festival will be taking place on August 18 from 9 am - 1:30 pm at Prairie Outpost Park, and will include live and music and cuisine from countries including Germany, Sweden, and Ukraine. Sure to be a fun event!
Travelling with the family in tow? Then you’ll want to get down to the Bakken Inflatable 5K, which will take place at Paterson Lake Recreational Area on August 25. Your and the kids can complete a 5K course with seven inflatable obstacles in the way. Oh, and all the money raised will help support House of Manna, United Way of Dickinson, and West Dakota Parent & Family Resource Center, too.
Finally, there’s the Medora Hot Air Balloon Rally & Badlands Kite Fest, which will take place from Sept 7 - 9. Head down, get comfortable, and look at the skies for a colourful display.
