Summer may soon be behind us, but there’s no reason to be sad that we’re moving into another season. After all, what’s coming up is (nearly) just as awesome! If you’re visiting Dickinson during the early parts of fall, from late September and into early October, then you’ll find a trio of great events waiting to be enjoyed. Coming up we have a pumpkin event (of course!), a classic car show, and an adrenaline inducing event. Check out all the details below! Source: Jessica Lewis
You know it’s fall when, all of a sudden, you hear the word ‘pumpkin’ everywhere. On October 6, the 5th Annual Pumpkins in the Patch event will be taking place at the DSU Outdoor Arena. There’s going to be a whole bunch of pumpkin and farm-related fun taking place throughout the day, including hayrides, carnival games, and much more. Admission is $5 and includes games and hayrides.
Love your classic cars? Then make sure you’re getting down to the car show that’ll be taking place at Edgewood Hawks Point on September 29. There’s going to be a whole bunch of awesome, old cars, and truck vendors selling food. Really, what more do you need? Takes places from 10 am - 2 pm.
If you like your cars to be moving rather than static, then you’ll want to be at the Speedway Stock Car Races event, which will be taking place at Southwest Speedway - South of Dickinson on September 28 and 29.
