The summertime is the time to spend with family, friends, and long lost acquaintances that we may have lost touch for whatever reason. Nonetheless it’s the perfect time to re-connect and share some new experiences together. Whether it's celebrating the birthday of this wonderful country, or just sending the kiddos off to summer camp, we’ve got three suggestions for you to fill your days!
The Fourth of July, an momentus day in American history. Come down to the Former DSU Rodeo Grounds in Dickinson, North Dakota for a spectacular light and colour show fashioned to celebrate the birth of the great country, the United States of America. The event is free, and it starts at 10:00 PM. The show lasts an hour long, but don’t be fooled, come early to makes sure you’ve got a pleasant view.
Tired of the kids already, or looking to drop the them off to get some peace and quiet? For a mere $50 per child, you can send them off to the Summer Art Camp for kids ages 2 through to 6 from Monday, July 8, to Thursday, July 11 daily from 10:30 AM to 12:00 noon. While the time away isn’t quiet full-time, it’s still enough peace and quiet to keeps things nice and calm for a short while.
If the Summer Art Camp has your children inspired, be sure to bring them, in fact the whole family, over to the Sunrise Festival of the Arts. This year they festival celebrates 29 years running over at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Sidney Montana. The festival is a one-day event on Saturday, July 13, 2019 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Free event.
