The end of summer may be on the horizon, but there’s still plenty of fun to be had. The great thing about Dickinson is that there’s always something to do! And if you’re visiting during mid to end of September, then you’ll find just that. Coming up we have a special Dakota harvest day, an exposition all about tattoos, and a celebration of one of North Dakota’s adopted sons, Theodore Roosevelt. You’ll find all the details below.

Fall days

Fall is coming, so get yourself wrapped into all that’s good and cozy about the season by attending the Pride of Dakota Harvest Showcase. The event will be taking place over two days from September 15 - 16 at West River Ice Center. While there you’ll be able to buy items from all across North Dakota, including foods, woodworking, and much more.

A trip into Roosevelt's North Dakota

Theodore Roosevelt loved North Dakota, and so will you! You can discover his version of the state by attending the Theodore Roosevelt Symposium, which will be taking place from September 20 - 22 at Dickinson State University.

Body art

Love body art? Then make sure you don’t miss the 2nd Annual Tattoo Legendary Expo, which will be taking place at Astoria Hotel & Event Center from September 21 - 23. There will be artists travelling from across the country to be here, so make sure you’re there if you’re a tattoo lover.
