Dickinson North Dakota is a fast and growing city, but nevertheless, it is still a very close-knit community. With its many family-oriented events and programs held each week, it’s no wonder the people of Dickinson are very friendly and welcoming. Here are two great events that represent the personality and characteristics of the people of Dickinson.

Make-A-Wish 2020

On March 21st, the West River Ice Center at 1865 Empire Road is hosting the Make-A-Wish Benefit 2020. This is no ordinary sit-down benefit, but rather one that will keep you on your feet. From jumping castles to ice skating, this is one Benefit you won't want to miss. Doors open at 4:00 pm, where you can head straight down to the ice rink and skate for free! There will be a social and silent auction, from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm, and also a live auction that starts at 8:00 pm. In addition to fun activities, get ready to fill up on tacos at the Build Your Own Taco Bar from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. Admission is only $10 for adults, $5 for children 6-12 years and free for children 5 years and under. If by the end of the night, you still have energy left, there will be a dance starting at 9:00 pm where you are welcome to boogie the night away. The best part of all is that 100% of the proceeds will go to Make-A-Wish North Dakota. So bring the whole family for some quality time together while making a difference.

Fourth Annual Pizza and Pals

Are you looking for a family-friendly event that involves food? Mark your calendars for Saturday, April  4th, and head down to the Biesiot Activity Centre for the 4th Annual Pizza and Pals, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Not only will you get your fill of pizza and ice cream, but you will also have an opportunity to meet some of your favourite characters and get their autographs. There will also be face painting and a character dance party where you can shine by showing off your amazing dance moves. Tickets can be purchased at Quality Quick Print, Dickinson Public Library and Out Of Town (located in the mall).
