The holiday season is just around the corner in Dickinson, and that means all kinds of festive, family-friendly events. This year, Dickinson, ND is playing host to a range of Christmas events, from a holiday parade and festival of trees to a craft fair - and it’s not even December! For a list of the top holiday events to check out in Dickinson this November, keep reading.
Dickinson’s annual Christmas Parade of Lights is taking place on Friday, November 26th (otherwise known as Black Friday). Kicking off at 5:00 pm and lasting until 7:00 pm, the parade will feature beautifully lit floats travelling through downtown Dickinson. Vendors selling food and drinks will be set up on the sidewalk. Get ready to kick off the holiday season!
The Chamber Holiday Arts & Craft Show is taking place on Saturday, November 27th. This craft show will feature some of the best arts and crafts in southwestern North Dakota. The fair is taking place right here at the Astoria Hotel from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm. Don’t miss this chance to get your holiday shopping done early!
The 3rd Annual Festival of Trees is back in Dickinson this holiday season. Taking place on Saturday, November 13th from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm, this free community event will have you marvelling at the beautifully decorated trees and wreaths. There will also be a silent auction, with all proceeds being donated to local nonprofits.
Operation Christmas Child is back and the Lighthouse Church of God in Dickinson is the relay site for southwest North Dakota. Pack a box with something special and give a gift to a child around the world that otherwise wouldn’t have one this Christmas. The Operation Christmas Child collection week is from November 15th until the 22nd.
