The beginning of March finally arriving gives us two things to be thankful for -- the beginning of spring is finally here and with the cold weather subsiding; we can finally get back outside and enjoy what the community has to offer. A community is a group of individuals that are connected by similar values and attributes and even if you are from outside of the stunning city of Dickinson, North Dakota, our community will welcome you with open arms to a variety of that it’s hosting.
The Dickinson Noon Lions Benefit is the perfect way to start your spring by giving back to a foundation that makes the wishes of children come true. On Saturday, March 16 head over to the West River Ice Center in Dickinson, North Dakota and check out the items in the silent auction and the build your own taco bar. The benefit starts at 4:30 PM and concludes with music by Josh Kehr starting at 9:00 PM. Note: Admission is $10 - Adults, $5 Children (6-12), and free for Children 5 & under.
While you are traveling getting involved in the community can help you find comfort and help support others. By attending the 2nd Annual Sober St. Patty’s Day Celebration & Silent Auction you can give back to the community while enjoying a delicious Roast Beef supper and silent auction. The celebration takes place on Wednesday, March 20 from 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM with a speech from our guest speaker, the First Lady of North Dakota: Kathryn Helgass Burgum at 6:30 PM.
