Dickinson has a population of approximately 25,000 people and is considered the gateway to the 70,000 acre Theodore National Park and its many recreational opportunities. Definitely visit the Ukrainian Cultural Institute where handcrafted eggs with exquisite detail are displayed. The "Pyskany" Easter egg collections are full of color and design: each one telling a unique story. Embroidery and other crafts are displayed. Open year-round, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.
For any men wanting a haircut, definitely try out De Porres House of Barbering and Lounge, a unique combination of old school barbershop with a lounge! They apparently have changing offerings of craft beer on tap as well as other beers, wine, cigars, and old fashioned sodas!...interesting.
